Research Description

My research focus is on the analysis of biobehavioral emotion systems, including aggression and defense, and on the behavioral and physiological consequences of social stress. Much of this work has involved central and peripheral drug effects on defensive behaviors that serve as preclinical models of anxiety, panic, and depression.
