Research Description
My research uses mathematical modeling approaches to study
the interaction between cellular morphology and
computational properties of neurons, including synaptic
integration and neuromodulation. A current focus is on the
effects of the structure of the "myelin" sheath on impulse
conduction in invertebrate neurons.
