| A few sections dorsal to Fig. 16 and 17. Follow the numbered cilia. At this level of the buccal cavity (bc) the opening into the cytopharynx is not seen. Pharyngeal vesicles accumulate at the ends of the cytopharyngeal lamellae and are present under the basal bodies of the membranelles. The alveolar sacs are still present at this level.
